Apple Music Is Now Available On The Roku Platform

[ad_1]

Apple Music subscribers can now listen to their tunes using the Roku suite of devices, the hardware maker announced today.

The move means that those with Roku TV, Roku streaming devices, and even the company’s premium audio accessories can now listen to Apple Music without the need to resort to AirPlay.

Roku made the announcement via a press release, saying that users now have access to more than 90 million songs — so long as they are Apple Music or Apple One subscribers, of course.

Starting today, Roku users can access over 90 million songs and 30,000 expert-curated playlists for any occasion, ad-free on the Apple Music app. In addition, Roku users with an Apple Music subscription can live stream today’s hits, classics, and country with the award-winning Apple Music Radio, as well as listen to songs, albums, and playlists from their own music library. The Apple Music app also allows users to watch music videos in 4K on compatible devices and sing along to their favorite songs with time-synced lyrics. Subscribing users will also gain access to Apple Music original shows, concerts, and exclusives, as well as personalized recommendations.

Apple Music is available for $9.99 per month as a single-user subscription with a family plan also available.

Those who already use other Apple services including Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade should also check out the Apple One subscription bundle, too. It’s possible that you could save some money or add an additional service without the extra cost.
